Rt. 9 Library & Innovation Center
The Route 9 Library is in an underserved neighborhood that redefines what libraries can aspire to be. As such, the lighting needed to be modern, efficient, creative and flexible. The building includes a LEGO room, children’s reading room with a fiber-optic star ceiling, maker labs, gaming room, computer labs, flexible meeting spaces, teaching kitchen and a black-box theater. Intuitive controls were carefully integrated making the system flexible for workers and visitors. Chroma team members completed full lighting design and budgeting.
